The place is nice. But they already make so much profit from this that because of so many people who go, they are destroying the species. In my experience it is not worth paying the $350 to just see a few fireflies. I prefer that the place be protected than that this sanctuary continue to be destroyed by the greed of a few.
It is a great place to do this experience. The guides are very friendly and provide a lot of information. After the sighting they have dinner and everything was great.
Beautiful place, a wonderful tour, a beautiful place to camp and be in contact with nature, ideal to disconnect from stress, to see them is the season from May to July and it rains.
A unique experience, I had not seen a firefly in around 20 years. The tour lasts around 3 hours. I recommend arriving at 8 so you can admire the landscape before the fireflies event.
We went this weekend in August and the truth is we didn't see more than 5 fireflies, next time we will go in June or July.
The walk was uphill, raining and cold, it was a difficult experience since I don't like rain and walking through the forest in the cold, but I understand that the organizers have no control over that. Anyway I recommend it.
The place is perfect, the service is good and the sighting is wonderful, it is a unique experience, highly recommended
It is a beautiful place. Literally, you disconnect from everything, because there is no signal and you get lost among the beautiful nature. I went in the first week of July and I didn't see an abundance of fireflies, although there were quite a few. The ideal is to go from the second week of July, and still the third and fourth. Edged stone left much to be desired as the rooms require more maintenance. The bathrooms are a little neglected and we were left without water for a while, although they immediately turned on the pump, but this was due to the maintenance of the pipes, and so you can say it's not very cheap. The restaurant took a long time, an hour for them to be served. They became oversaturated. But I have to say that they did their best.
Terrible, there is nothing there, it is only a place where information is provided, the entrance costs $385 per person only entry per exit and the season is the month of July and August.
